The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity is proposing to provide $113,050 of State Energy Program funds to the Cornerstone Church in Bethalto, Illinois. The proposed project is the installation of an approximately 25-kilowatt (kW) solar photovoltaic system consisting of 140 180-watt mono crystalline solar panels and would be roof mounted on the Cornerstone Church facility. According to the recipient, all work would be done by licensed electricians. The system is expected to produce approximately 35,778 kW annually.
