The Maryland State Energy Office is proposing to allow sub-grantees to use Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant funding for Activity #1 "Maryland American Recovery and Reinvestment Act County and Municipal Grant Program" to implement energy management technologies that will save energy related to water and waste water treatment plant motor usage. The motors are used throughout the water purification process.
