Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program. 1) Acquisition of technical services to support development of an energy efficiency and conservation strategy (ongoing), 2) provision of staff support for grant oversight and reporting, 3) acquisition of technical services to support development of fleet vehicle strategies and provide technical advice on energy efficiency guidelines and requirements, 4) identification of information technology (IT) solutions for reduction of energy use in City Hall (1968) (EXCLUDES RETROFITS EXCEPT FOR IT SOLUTIONS), 5) retrofit of the Senior Center heating, ventilating, and air conditioning system with more energy efficient equipment and control systems, 6) acquisition of one hybrid fuelled vehicle and purchase three segways, 7) identification of bike lanes through marking and installation of bike lane signage, 8) retrofit of street lighting with more energy efficient fixtures and lamps, 9) installation of a variable speed motor drive at the City Water Pump Station, 10) provision of additional incentives for home energy performance evaluations and energy efficiency improvements, and 11) develop a revolving loan program for downtown West Allis businesses.
