The State of Oregon proposes to provide $120,000 in Recovery Act funds to the Association of Oregon Counties for the installation of a video conference video bridge, associated equipment and software to support room, desktop web camera and telephone-based conferencing. The equipment will be located in Salem, Oregon and will connect at University of Oregon's county governments. The intent is for the room conferencing system to accommodate up to 40 users, and the desktop web camera system to accommodate up to 200 users. Equipment includes a server, uninterruptable power supply and a rack system to provide equipment storage space.
