Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant. The city will create a community recognition program that encourages and supports businesses in their energy and resource saving efforts, further increasing the likelihood of success. The city may consider an education and outreach only program ($3,000-$5,000) or include the cost of the energy audit ($1,000-$4,000 per building). Premium programs will include incentives to business owners to implement Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy measures.
