A blending study will be conducted in the Engineering Development Lab (786-A) using an approximate 1/10th scale model of a Savannah River Remediation waste tank. This is the second phase of the Salt Disposition Integration (SDI) Blending Study at 786-A; the first phase is covered in Electronic Hazards Assessment Package (EHAP), Savannah River National Laboratory (SRNL)-L3100-2009-00315-0. This study will investigate the blending of miscible fluids as well as sludge disturbance in a clear 8 foot tank.
