Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program. The Pawnee Nation of Oklahoma proposes to install closed, vertical-loop ground source heat pump systems (approximately fourteen individual heat pumps ranging in size from 2 to 4 tons) on the Health and Community Services Building to enhance the energy efficiency of the building. The well field would consist of approximately 30 bores, 300-feet deep, and would be grouted with bentonite and cement placed on top of the grout. In addition, the Pawnee Nation proposes to install a closed, vertical-loop ground source heat pump system (approximate 5-ton unit) on the Food Distribution Expansion Facility. The well field would consist of 4 bores, 250-feet deep, and would be fully grouted. A state-certified drill contractor would be used to install all of the ground source heat pumps.
