Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program. 1) Develop County?s Long Term Energy Efficiency and Conservation Strategy, 2) technical consultant services to conduct a comprehensive monitoring and tracking program, 3) technical consultant services to provide assistance for developing the community foundation grant program, 4) establishing an energy efficiency and conservation retrofit grant program for local businesses, 5) building retrofits to change out obsolete air handlers with energy efficient heating and cooling systems at the County Courthouse, 6) installation of wind energy conversion systems including installation of four generators.
