The proposed action would consist of the establishment of a Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL) for Plasma Based Nanotechnologies to explore the plasma science associated with nanotechnology processes, including understanding of plasma-nanoparticle interactions and transport, development of in-situ plasma diagnostics and controlling nanoparticle synthesis by plasma manipulation.
