The State of Washington has signed the State Energy Program Template for projects that it will fund under the Energy Efficiency Credit Enhancement Program Market Title. The State has set aside $5,000,000 of Recovery Act funds to support this work. This Market Title will establish a process to award grants to financial institutions to create credit enhancements for energy efficiency projects. It will create and use risk reduction mechanisms to promote involvement of local financial institutions and other financing mechanisms in funding energy efficiency improvements to leverage state and federal funding.
