The State of Illinois will provide $144,000 in Recovery Act funds to Champaign Unit 4 School District to install a vertical closed-loop ground source heat pump system in the Westview Elementary School. Engineers estimate that the system will have a capacity of 144 tons, sufficient to replace the existing unit ventilator and boiler system.
