The State of Illinois will provide $138,000 in Recovery Act funds to Champaign Unit 4 School District to install a ground source heat pump system in the Bottenfield Elementary School. The system is projected to have a capacity of 138 tons, sufficient to replace the current unit ventilator and boiler system.
