Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program. The Township of Manheim intends to conduct building energy audits in its major government buildings to identify the best projects to reduce energy consumption in its buildings by at least 15 to 25 percent. Beginning in the summer of 2010, the Township Commissioners will proceed with the Request for Proposals (RFP) process for interested and qualified Energy Service Companies (ESCO) to begin the building audit process and identification of needs for later implementation strategies to reduce energy and related costs in facilities.
