Sandia National Laboratories/New Mexico (SNL/NM) proposes a medium-term program to measure electromagnetic emanations from various sources in and about SNL/NM, Kirtland Air Force Base (KAFB), and other off-site locations in the continental United States. These measurements would utilize electric and magnetic field sensors and data-recording equipment. Electromagnetic sources of interest to be measured would include: 1. Facilities that use Marx generators 2) High-explosive (HE) above- and below-ground detonations (i.e., during normal mining operations).
