The State of Texas will provide $1,125,549 in Recovery Act funds to the Palacios Independent School District (ISD), Matagorda ISD, and Tidehaven ISD to install small wind turbines on nine school campuses in the three ISDs. The wind turbines will serve educational purposes as well as to generate clean, renewable energy for campus use.
