The State of Washington will provide $250,000 in Recovery Act funds to the Sirti Foundation for entrepreneurial mentoring, business services, and sub-loans to emerging clean technology companies in Eastern Washington. The companies served by Sirti Foundation under this program must demonstrate energy efficiency or renewable energy in the State of Washington. The subloans will support company efforts that include planning and outreach, for example, developing and implementing sales and marketing plans to include company branding, design, and printing of sales and promotional literature for high technology products. A separate possible activity might involve the purchase of equipment to support part of the clean technology business effort.
