Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program. Daylight sensors currently exist in the design to allow lighting in some areas exposed to natural light to be shut off at a predetermined natural/exterior light level. Light fixtures in skylight areas are the fixtures currently being controlled by the daylight sensors. The control currently only allows for an "on/off" scenario. 0-10 volt dimming of the fixtures would allow for lighting levels to be decreased in proportion with the increase in natural lighting for the skylight areas and other areas exposed to natural light. Dimming ballasts will need to be installed in the fixtures, as well as additional lighting control equipment will be needed to control the dimming ballasts.
