Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG ) funds, together with other grant funds, and lighting district funds will be used to modernize/retrofit approximately 200 historic lights. The retrofit will retain the historic lamp poles, while updating the system including energy efficiency design components. It is anticipated that to retrofit the entire remaining 1,000 lights it will be done in phases.
