The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity will provide Rowe Foundry with $1,260,953 in Recovery Act funds to purchase and install equipment to produce gear box housings for the wind turbine industry. The work will be performed at Rowe's Existing facility in Martinsville, Illinois. The equipment consists of a gas-fired thermal reclamation unit to improve the quality of castings and a retrieval molding system. The molding system allows Rowe Foundry to produce larger castings.
