The Arizona Geological Survey is proposing to populate "the National Geothermal Data System (NGDS) with data from across the United States (U.S.) and its territories. Particular attention will be given to data at risk of deteriorating (e.g., paper documents, film, etc.). This would significantly minimize the risk of losing any of the nation's geothermal data while making the entire body of information widely and easily assessable".
