Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant funded. The following activities fall within the bounds of the signed Statement of Work (SOW) and therefore are categorically excluded under National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA): Activity #2 - Building Retrofit Program, Activity #3 - Metro Green Services, Activity #5 - International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) Program, Activity #6 - Waste Reduction and Recycling, Activity #7 - Traffic Signals Program The following sub-activity falls outside the bounds of the Signed SOW, but qualify for a categorical exclusion under NEPA: Conversion of the energy system in Fire Station 26 from propane to natural gas will allow the installation and use of more energy efficient heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system, water heaters and appliances for the Fire Station.
