Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) funds. Project is a retrofit of the Annett Nature Center (home of the Warren County Conservation Board and a field office of the Iowa Department of Natural Resources) for geothermal heating and cooling. Furnaces and air conditioning units in the building will be replaced and the geothermal field will be installed immediately east of the building in an area disturbed during building construction in 1996 and 1997.
