Quarterly Tank 50 samples are collected for analysis to determine compliance with the Saltstone Waste Acceptance Criteria X-SD-Z-00001 (current revision). Samples are received into the Savannah River National Laboratory shielded cells, combined, if necessary, split, and submitted to Analytical Development (AD) for analysis. A portion of the sample is transferred to C-114 for density measurement. Weight percent solids analysis is performed in the Shielded Cells Operations (SCO).
