The California Community Colleges, Board of Governors will be using Department of Energy funding to create a state-wide standardized training curriculum and certification for Solar Photovoltaic and Solar Heating and Cooling Instructors for both California and Hawaii. Activities will include curriculum development; conduct Train-the-Trainer events; participate in the National Consortium for Solar Installer Instructor Training; and convene with national and regional experts in solar training to share model curricula, lessons learned, and best practices.
