The City of Madison would use Department of Energy funding to develop a Community Solar System ownership program, target marketing solar to businesses, and develop a Solar Business Center. Activities would include developing feasibility models for the city; developing regulatory practices; establishing marketing plans; developing a solar computer database; conducting promotional events; creating training materials on solar technology; developing and promoting solar business models; conducting solar assessments; and planning for the development and construction of a Solar Business Center.
