Pennsylvania State University (PSU) will be using Department of Energy (DOE) and cost share funding to establish a competitive DOE/PSU Fellowship Program to support graduate student research that is directly relevant to the hydropower industry. Some funding will be directed to American Hydro Corporation who will serve as Penn State's industry partner. They will provide technical advice and turbine geometries, to assist in the student's work.
