Box remediation (including Standard Large Boxes (SLB?s), Standard Waste Boxes (SWB?s), and/or B-25 Overpacks) will be performed in the existing Mixed Waste Processing Facility, located in the E-Area on TRU (transuranic waste) Pad 6. The above-mentioned boxes to be remediated will be less than or equal to one Pu-239 Equivalent Curie (PEC) and will be opened and the internal items sorted/removed/corrected and subsequently re-packaged or properly disposed of.
