The tribe proposes to use Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant funds to replace 1-3 conventional street lights in the Nation with street light powered by solar energy. Funds would be used to purchase power poles, wiring, solar panels and other needed materials, as well as to lay the foundation for the power poles and retain a contractor for work.
