This proposed revision to CEQ's NEPA regulations (published August 9, 1985) addressed incomplete or unavailable information when evaluating reasonably foreseeable significant adverse impacts on the human environment in an EIS. The proposed change removed reference to a "worst case analysis" from the CEQ regulations. The proposed change was finalized on April 25, 1986.
