The Hydrocarbons and Geothermal Energy Office (HGEO) Office of Workforce Management and Administration cultivates a highly skilled and productive workforce through effective talent acquisition and talent management strategies and programs. The Office of Workforce Management and Administration also facilitates administrative processes, including Executive Correspondence. It also manages the execution of HGEO’s University Training, Research and Recruitment programs, including the Mickey Leland Energy Fellowship.
The Office of Workforce Management and Administration supports HGEO’s goals through the following objective:
- Cultivate opportunities to foster a high-performing HGEO workforce and grow the nation’s energy workforce.
Key Functions
- Execute Talent Acquisition strategies to identify workforce requirements and attract highly skilled candidates in an efficient and effective hiring process.
- Execute Talent Management programs to engage, develop, recognize, and retain high performing members of the workforce.
- Advise senior leaders and managers on organizational development and Human Resources regulation, practices, and processes.
- Develop and execute University and Talent Pipeline Programs (i.e., Mickey Leland Energy Fellowship and University Training and Research Program) that support the next generation of our energy workforce.
- Facilitate efficient Administrative Functions that support effective operations.
