The Hydrocarbons and Geothermal Energy Office (HGEO) Office of Strategic Communications and Engagement advances HGEO’s mission by bridging its technical expertise with external stakeholders through comprehensive communications and engagement strategies. The Office of Strategic Communications and Engagement provides planning, executive counsel, and disciplined message management to support effective policy implementation, build stakeholder trust, and communicate with clarity.
The Office of Strategic Communications and Engagement supports HGEO’s goals through the following objectives:
- Bolster strategic alliances, stakeholder engagement, collaboration and communication with key partners, and developing solutions to complex challenges.
Key Functions
- Develop messaging, strategies, and products to communicate HGEO activities and project information, milestones, and updates.
- Respond to communication and meeting requests from the public.
- Connect, build, manage, and sustain two-way relationships with stakeholders.
