Project: GeoBridge
Project Lead: National Laboratory of the Rockies
Project Timeline: 9/15/2023 - Ongoing
GeoBridge is a collaborative web platform designed to facilitate easy access to geothermal information. The platform offers a single, publicly available, searchable portal that provides geothermal knowledge and resources from an organized, central location.
By making information easily available to individuals and groups not traditionally linked to Office of Geothermal-funded research and analysis, including potential investors and start-up companies looking to accelerate innovation in geothermal technologies, GeoBridge expands the pool of geothermal stakeholders and helps build a stronger geothermal community.
GeoBridge also links stakeholders to a range of information that meets stakeholders where they are—from geothermal “101” to more detailed analysis, tools, and expertise. The platform serves as a dispatch site, pointing users to existing data and tools, events, educational resources, STEM programs, permitting and regulatory information, and other resources that can be used to evaluate, promote, and discover geothermal opportunities.
