The Hydrocarbons and Geothermal Energy Office gives notice of receipt of an Application, filed on May 5, 2026, by Port Arthur LNG, LLC (PALNG), requesting blanket authorization to export liquefied natural gas (LNG) that has been previously imported into the United States from foreign sources in an amount up to the equivalent of 20 billion cubic feet of natural gas for a period of two years beginning earlier or by October 1, 2026.  PALNG requests authorization to export LNG from the Port Arthur LNG Terminal under construction in Jefferson County, Texas, to any country with the capacity to import LNG via ocean-going carrier, and with which trade is not prohibited by U.S. law or policy.  PALNG requests this authorization on its own behalf and as agent for other entities who hold title to the LNG at the time of export.  

A Federal Register Notice will be issued for the NFTA portion of this application.
