DOE ordered Venture Formations, LLC (“Venture”) to pay a $85,000 civil penalty after finding Venture had failed to certify that certain models of battery chargers comply with the applicable energy conservation standard[s]. The Order adopted a Settlement Agreement, which reflected settlement terms between DOE and Venture.
