DOE ordered Velieta Direct Guangdongkemokejiyouxiangongsi (Velieta) to pay a $20,000 civil penalty after finding Velieta had failed to certify that certain models of miscellaneous refrigeration products comply with the applicable energy conservation standards. The Order adopted a Compromise Agreement, which reflected settlement terms between DOE and Velieta.
