DOE ordered Phoenix Door Systems (Phoenix) to pay a $20,000 civil penalty after finding Phoenix had failed to certify that certain models of Phoenix walk-in cooler and freezer doors comply with the applicable energy conservation standards. The Order adopted a Compromise Agreement, which reflected settlement terms between DOE and Phoenix.
