DOE ordered Nortek Global HVAC (Nortek) to pay a $41,200 civil penalty after Nortek had manufactured and distributed in commerce in the U.S. multiple units of the noncompliant Nortek single-split-system central air conditioning heat pump basic model # SH2BE4M1SP60K. The Order adopted a Compromise Agreement, which reflected settlement terms between DOE and Nortek.
