DOE ordered MacroAir Technologies, Inc. (“MacroAir”) to pay a $40,000 civil penalty after finding MacroAir had failed to certify that certain models of large-diameter ceiling fans comply with the applicable energy conservation standard. The Order adopted a Settlement Agreement, which reflected settlement terms between DOE and MacroAir.
