DOE ordered Karmas Far Inc. (“Karmas”) to pay a $20,000 civil penalty after finding Karmas had failed to certify that certain models of refrigerators and refrigerator-freezers, comply with the applicable energy conservation standard[s]. The Order adopted a Settlement Agreement, which reflected settlement terms between DOE and Karmas.
