DOE ordered Axeman-Anderson Company (AIC) to pay a $20,000 civil penalty after finding AIC had failed to certify that certain models of residential furnaces and boilers comply with the applicable energy conservation standards.  The Order adopted a Compromise Agreement, which reflected settlement terms between DOE and AIC.
