Learn more: CETPartnership Joint Call 2023
Funding Amount: Up to $6 million

Background Information

The Clean Energy Transition Partnership (CETPartnership) aims at accelerating the clean energy transition to achieve the goal of climate neutrality by 2050. It is a multilateral and strategic partnership of national and regional research, development and innovation funding programs in EU Member States and Associated Countries, co-funded by the European Commission through Horizon Europe.

The CETPartnership Joint Call 2023 is the second annual co-funded call under the CETPartnership. To cover different topics and research, development and innovation types, the Call is structured into 12 Call Modules, aimed at different energy technologies and/or systems as well as both research and innovation-oriented approaches on different technology readiness levels, complementing and completing each other.

The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management (FECM) committed up to $6 million in funding towards hydrogen and carbon capture, utilization, and storage projects that provide cleaner technological solutions and contribute to significant carbon dioxide reductions by 2030 and the climate neutrality by 2050.

The deadline to submit applications for this funding opportunity has closed.
