DOE and the other parties involved at SSFL (NASA, Boeing, and DTSC) sponsor and co-sponsor different site tours for interested parties. These include public visitation days to observe characterization activities at SSFL Area IV; community bus and walking tours of the SSFL site; and tours for specific groups, such as Native American Groups, Groundwater U participants, school classes, and media. Regularly scheduled tours are as follows:
- SSFL Bus Tours: DOE, NASA, and Boeing jointly offer SSFL site tours on Saturdays between the months of April and November. Please look out for tour announcements.
