In response to health concerns brought to the attention of the Health Commissioner of the Pike County General Health Department by local community members, the U.S. Department of Energy (U.S. DOE) requested the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) to conduct an independent public health evaluation of radiological contaminants near the U.S. DOE Portsmouth Site (PORTS) in Pike County, Ohio.

The public comment documents are provided to allow the public an opportunity to identify issues within the documents that are missing, incorrect, or are unclear as written.
