SANTA FE, N.M. – More than 300 people turned out for a town hall-style event last week focused on national security and environmental cleanup priorities, including EM’s work at the Los Alamos National Laboratory and Waste Isolation Pilot Plant in New Mexico. EM and the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) hosted the event at the Santa Fe Community Convention Center. Speaking at the event, on the stage from left, are William “Ike” White, EM senior advisor; Jill Hruby, under secretary for nuclear security and administrator of the NNSA; and event moderator Anna Hansen, Santa Fe County Commission chair. Members of the public asked questions and provided comments during the meeting. More than 200 people also joined the event virtually. Click here to watch the Town Hall.
