Cincinnati – Today, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) awarded an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract for EM Headquarters (HQ) Consolidated Technical Support Services (CTSS) to Catawba-TEA, LLC, of Rock Hill, South Carolina. Catawba-TEA, LLC is a Joint Venture between Catawba Engineering and Environmental Services and Trinity Engineering Associates, Inc. Catawba-TEA, LLC is a certified Small Business Administration 8(a) Program participant.

The contract will have a maximum value of $25 million over two years. Firm-fixed-price and time and material task orders may be issued from the basic contract.

The objective of this contract is to provide technical support services to include, but not limited to: technical, business, and systems support for Safety, Security, Emergency Preparedness, and Quality Assurance; Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality; Security; Technology Development; Major Construction, Decommissioning or Demolition, and modifications; Infrastructure Management and Disposition; Waste and Materials Management; Regulatory, Intergovernmental, and Stakeholder Engagement; Resources Management; Acquisition and Contract Management.

A competitive procurement action was initiated for EM HQ CTSS with a Request for Information issued during September 2022. The competitive procurement action will continue for the contract following the two-year ordering period in today’s contract award. Today’s contract award ensures there is no lapse in service while DOE completes the competitive procurement.
