The SunShot Initiative held its 2016 Concentrating Solar Power (CSP) Summit and Integration Workshop in San Diego on April 19-21. The CSP Summit featured speakers, technical presentations, and networking events to inform, share, and inspire participants about current and envisioned research, markets, and technology innovation. The Integration Workshop discussed promising technology pathways to achieve the SunShot vision for CSP in a fully integrated system demonstration, which helped to identify technology gaps, research and validation needs, and facility requirements.
