Phil Ulibarri of Truckee Meadows Community College in Reno earned first place in the Geo Energy is Beautiful contest in 2014.
With the theme of GeoEnergy is Beautiful, the Energy Department's National Geothermal Student Competition in 2014 centered around public awareness. Student teams were asked to create a clear and engaging infographic that would explain geothermal energy simply to a non-technical audience.
