This is the text version of the video EERE Explains... What are Regional Clean Hydrogen Hubs?
A regional clean hydrogen hub is a network of hydrogen producers and consumers, and the connective infrastructure located in close proximity.
Regional clean hydrogen hubs will produce clean hydrogen from multiple energy resources; demonstrate diverse end uses; create training/employment opportunities; and cover different regions of the United States.
One way we are going to enable the regional clean hydrogen hubs is through H2 Matchmaker!
H2 Matchmaker is an online information resource to assist hydrogen suppliers and users expand development and establish the regional clean hydrogen hubs.
H2 Matchmaker will increase hydrogen and fuel cell regional project awareness; support private sector development of hydrogen production, storage, and transportation infrastructure; and facilitate regional business development opportunities.
