The International Meeting on Fuel Cell and Electrolyzer Quality Control was held May 5–6, 2021, as a virtual meeting. This meeting was part of a series of workshops organized and facilitated by the National Research Council Canada (NRC), Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems (ISE), and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) to address quality control (QC) needs for polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell and electrolysis membrane electrode assembly materials.

Under support from the DOE Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies Office (HFTO), and with coordinated facilitation from NRC and Fraunhofer ISE, NREL hosted the May 2021 meeting to provide an opportunity for U.S. labs, academia, and industry to engage in the ongoing series of meetings, provide insight, and help drive the direction of this international collaborative research effort.
