On April 10, 2003, the National Nuclear Security Administration issued a Preliminary Notice of Violation (EA-2003-02) to the University of California for violations of 10 C.F.R. Parts 830 and 835 associated with a March 13, 2002, contamination event; a September 26, 2002, radiography event; and safety basis issues at the Los Alamos National Laboratory.
